A breather from the chaotic world

In today's world, all I see is bad, horrible or even worse news. With politics being so divided, having a president that acts like a child, people still thinking it's three centuries ago with homophobic and sexist ideals, I just need a breather.

I'm so busy that when I do have time to relax, I do anything and everything to make me smile and laugh. And I have two apps that stem for the source of my happiness. YouTube and TikTok.

Now I know that TikTok has a bad rap, but it's actually a hilarious platform. It's like a second Vine. It's main goal is to make content that is funny and relatable. And that's exactly what I need while I'm de-stressing from the day. Short videos that I can scroll for eternity through, it's perfect! And not only can I laugh to myself, but I love getting videos shared to me by my friends. It's a place for anyone who wants a laugh, but is to ADHD for long videos.

The other place that is my relaxing place is YouTube. The platform is filled with anything and everything you could ever want. But I focus on channels that have crazy storytimes or are comedy channels. I can be apart of someone else's fun times, instead of being stressed about school or work.

The reason that sparked this blog post was a YouTube video that radiated pure happiness. I have followed this person since I can remember and they were the first person I ever watched on YouTube.

oJenna Marbles' channel has become the best place for wholesome videos. She's been on YouTube for over 10 years and her channel has grown over the years to just her doing whatever she pleases. But the video that is getting me through this week, is her "I made a train for my dogs" video.

This video is exactly what the title says but is absolutely the best thing in the entire world. It's funny, includes dogs, and a train. What more could you want!

So if you're having a bad week or the world is bringing you down, just travel to Jenna's channel have yourself a wholesome time. It's incredibly worth it.
